Travel through parched deserts, explore lush rain forest, learn about top birdwatching localities at home and abroad or hear about conservation measures and bird behaviour.
The outstanding quality of slide presentations and guest speakers at ourmonthly meetings stimulate the imagination, bringing your field guides to life and whetting your appetite for an even greater interest in ornothology.

More active persuits are equally available.

Bird watching forays, participitation in national survey work and a very busy bird ringing group are all part and parcelof this vibrant society.
The successful launch of Doncaster Bird Census 2000 is typical and very much a local initiative.

Volunteers and contributors are allways welcome.
Publications are important and the highly acclaimed Doncaster Bird Report is the society's principal document.
A meticulous annual compilation of the district's bird sightings plus the ringing report and numerous informative articles.

DDOS is the society's free quaterly newsletter brimming with thought provoking items.
The diary dates bearing particularly testimony to a diverse and thoroughly entertaining social calendar.
